By age 25, I had earned decent money, but I still felt lost.

I returned to the Philippines and enrolled in a Master's Degree in Educational Management while teaching Information Technology at the college level.

I enjoyed teaching.

I enjoyed learning.

Yet something still felt missing.

I was accumulating credentials but not clarity.

Then another opportunity arrived.

A company in Bermuda offered me a position as a Catering Supervisor.

I accepted immediately.

This role exposed me to a whole new level of leadership and business operations.

I learned how to:

• Manage catering systems

• Coordinate large-scale events

• Work with customers from diverse backgrounds

• Lead multicultural teams

• Understand how successful businesses operate behind the scenes

I worked alongside professionals from more than a dozen countries, gaining perspectives that no classroom could ever teach.

Looking back, those experiences became one of the most valuable parts of my education.

In 2013, I started a blog.

I also opened a junk shop business in the Philippines.

At first, everything looked promising.

Then reality struck again.

By the third year, the business became unsustainable.

I lost over ₱500,000.

Was it painful?

Absolutely.

But I refused to blame anyone.

Not my staff.

Not my sister who helped manage it.

Not the market.

Instead, I took responsibility and learned one of the most important lessons of entrepreneurship:

Never invest in a business you don't fully understand or can't properly oversee.

That lesson would save me from much bigger mistakes later.

In 2017, another door opened.

I was promoted to Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.

For two years, I helped oversee multiple restaurant operations, including a beach house restaurant and a semi-fine dining establishment.

This was where I truly learned leadership.

Not from books.

Not from seminars.

But from real-world experience.

I learned how to manage teams, solve operational problems, improve profitability, and lead people through challenges.

Those skills would soon lead me to the biggest opportunity of my career.

I was offered the chance to manage a restaurant in Canada.

The move was exciting—but far from easy.

I had to adapt to a completely different culture, workforce, legal environment, and way of life.

The transition challenged me personally and professionally.

But challenges create growth.

Over time, I helped improve operations, increase efficiency, and support the restaurant's success.

During my years in Canada, I also helped more than eight individuals successfully move to Canada through programs such as the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), and other pathways.

I witnessed firsthand how opportunities can transform lives.

For years, I helped build successful businesses for other people.

And while I was proud of that work, a question kept returning:

If I can help others create the life they want, why can't I build that life for myself?

That question changed everything.

In 2024, my wife and I moved to Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

A few months later, we purchased a franchise business.

After years of working as a dishwasher, server, cook, supervisor, manager, and operator, I finally became a business owner.

Not because I was lucky.

But because I kept learning, adapting, and moving forward despite uncertainty.

I believe success isn't reserved for the smartest people.

It's reserved for those willing to keep going when things don't go according to plan.

I've failed.

I've changed careers.

I've worked 100-hour weeks.

I've lost money.

I've started over multiple times.

And every experience taught me something valuable.

Today, my mission is simple:

To help hardworking people create more freedom, opportunity, and ownership in their lives.
